Lens with Eye-Detection AF Support
With support for eye-detection autofocus, the VILTROX 16mm f/1.8 STM helps keep your subject perfectly sharp even when moving. The camera can quickly recognise and continuously track eyes, making it easier to photograph people and animals. Thanks to reliable focus tracking, you can concentrate on the composition of your shot and capture the decisive moment with maximum precision.
The Lens is Ideal for Vlogging and Video Recording
Thanks to its combination of compact size, fast aperture and smooth autofocus, the VILTROX 16mm f/1.8 STM is a great choice for vlogging and professional video production. The wide-angle focal length makes it easy to shoot handheld, captures more space in the frame and gives your videos an impressive perspective. The VILTROX Lens Offers Both Smooth and Stepped Aperture Control
The VILTROX 16mm f/1.8 STM lens features an aperture ring with both smooth and stepped control. High-Quality Workmanship
The VILTROX 16mm f/1.8 STM lens is designed with an emphasis on comfortable operation and long life. The internal focusing design maintains a constant lens length when focusing, which contributes to more comfortable work and makes it easier to use photographic filters. The smooth-running focus ring allows for precise manual focusing, which will be appreciated by photographers and videographers alike. The front optical element is coated with multiple HD Nano layers with a water-repellent and oleophobic treatment, which helps to reduce dirt build-up, facilitates cleaning and at the same time contributes to high image quality.
Practical Features for Everyday Use
In addition to top-of-the-line optics, the VILTROX 16mm f/1.8 STM also offers a number of practical features that make everyday photography more enjoyable. The flat front element allows you to use standard 77mm filters without any problems, so you can easily expand your creative possibilities with polarising, ND or protective filters. The lens also includes a clear LCD display that shows important setting information and makes it easy to check them quickly while shooting. There are also two programmable Fn buttons for quick access to frequently used functions, and a USB-C port that allows for easy firmware updates.
