The 5MP CMOS sensor captures video at a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520 pixels at a smooth frame rate of 30 FPS. The fixed 2.8mm focal length lens provides a wide field of view with a screen size angle of 120.6° and a vertical angle of 54.9°. For efficient data transfer and to save space on network storage, the Ubiquiti IP camera uses efficient H.264 video compression, which minimises the data stream while maintaining high image quality.
Reliable Hybrid Night Vision
The device works reliably even in poor lighting conditions thanks to its integrated night mode. The hybrid system uses built-in infrared LEDs with a mechanical IR cut filter for optimal image capture in the dark. The system provides a clear image with a range of up to 6m, which is sufficient for monitoring the immediate vicinity of an entrance, corridors, or smaller areas.
Smart Object and Person Recognition
The integrated processor with advanced algorithms enables accurate real-time evaluation of the captured scene. The device can handle not only classic motion and intrusion detection, but also intelligent recognition of people, vehicles, and animals. When a defined event is detected, the system immediately sends an alert via email or push notification to a mobile phone.
Durable Construction and Flexible Installation
The compact Cube body, with a height of 107.5mm and a diameter of 48mm, allows for discreet placement in any environment. The polycarbonate construction withstands temperatures from -20°C to 40°C, while the IPX4 rating protects the internal electronics from splashing water. Mechanical impact resistance is defined by the IK04 standard, and the extensive mounting accessories included in the package facilitate installation on a wall, ceiling, pole, or freestanding on a flat surface.
IP Camera Connectivity
The device connects to the network via a single RJ-45 LAN port with a speed of 10/100 MbE, which also serves for PoE power in the range of 37–57V DC with a maximum consumption of 4W. Management and cloud storage of recordings are handled by the compatible UniFi Application Suite Protect. Supported operating systems include Windows, Android, and iOS, with the application interface available in English.
