First-Class 2K Image and Advanced Optics
At the heart of the optical system is a sensitive 5MP CMOS sensor which, in conjunction with a fixed lens with a focal length of 2.8mm, captures the scene in a detailed resolution of 2688 × 1512px. The high frame rate of 30 FPS provides perfectly smooth, tear-free video, making it easy to identify fast-moving objects. The wide-angle optics cover a horizontal field of view of 102.4° and a vertical angle of 54.9°. To efficiently manage network bandwidth and save storage space, the camera uses H.264 and MJPEG compression formats, which preserve image quality at a low data rate.
Reliable Night Vision
An integrated infrared illuminator provides property protection in low-light conditions and in complete darkness. The built-in IR LED with a mechanical IR cut filter provides uniform illumination of the scene up to a distance of 9m. The camera automatically activates night mode when the ambient light intensity drops, while advanced 2DNR and 3DNR noise reduction algorithms effectively eliminate image grain. This gives the user a clear and high-contrast black and white recording, even in the darkest corners of the monitored area.
Smart Detection and Intelligent Features
The device uses advanced algorithms to recognise specific events in its field of view. Integrated artificial intelligence can accurately identify the movement of people, vehicles, and animals, thus significantly minimising the risk of false alarms caused by things like falling leaves or weather changes. The system reacts instantly to detected events and sends real-time notifications to the mobile app, allowing for an immediate response to any perimeter breach.
Two-Way Audio and Clear Communication
The camera is equipped with an integrated microphone and a built-in speaker, which allows for full audio transmission from the monitored location. The sensitive microphone faithfully captures ambient noises and voices, providing more detailed information about the situation on the scene. The speaker, in conjunction with the microphone, allows for convenient two-way remote voice communication, so you can easily talk to visitors at the entrance or warn unwanted persons.
Connectivity and Application
Network connectivity is provided by a reliable 10/100 MbE RJ-45 Ethernet port, which also serves to power the camera via PoE technology in the 37–57V DC voltage range. The camera fully integrates into the UniFi Protect software platform, which allows for centralised management, live monitoring and saving recordings to the cloud. The mobile app is available for iOS and Android operating systems, and a Windows system can be used for access from a computer.
