Directional Properties and Gain
The antenna features directional radiation with a 30° angle in both the horizontal and vertical planes, with dual linear polarisation. The narrow beam focuses the radiated power in one direction, reducing interference from surrounding wireless networks and improving signal quality. Outdoor Durability
The outdoor construction withstands harsh weather conditions thanks to its IP54 rating. The UV-stabilised plastic casing protects the internal electronics from rain, moisture, and sunlight. The device can withstand strong winds of up to 200km/h, with a wind load of 45.4N at this speed. The manufacturer has tested its mechanical resistance according to strict standards, such as the salt spray test IEC 68-2-11, thermal shock IEC 68-2-14, vibration IEC 68-2-6, and the wind-driven rain test according to the ETS 300 019-1-4 standard.
Power Supply
A single gigabit Ethernet port with passive PoE support is used for connection and power. The package includes a PoE adapter with an output voltage of 24V and a current of 0.5A. This method simplifies installation on high masts where standard electrical sockets are unavailable. The device supports a supply voltage range from 20 to 27V DC. The power consumption is 7.5W, contributing to economical operation. Integrated ESD protection protects the ports against surges of up to +/- 24kV by air and contact.
Installation
The mounting kit included in the package allows for secure attachment to a circular mast.
