The TrackR Pixel in red also works the other way - in case of losing a mobible phone. Just press the button on the sensor and the phone will immediately ring, even when in silent mode. The range of the sensor is up to 33m. It can happen that the thing you are looking for is out of the range of Bluetooth. The application is ready for you and will show you the last known chip location on the map. It will also show you whether you are moving away from or moving closer to the chip. Inside the chip is a removable CR2016 battery that can power it for up to one year. The remaining battery capacity will be displayed on the mobile app.

You can also set the distance limit in the app, which means that at this distance (between the phone and the sensor) there is an immediate audio and visual notification on the mobile phone. Although the Bluetooth feature might seem limited due to its range, with registration to the Crowd Locate Network, you can extend the reach of the chip almost all over the world. Every registered user runs an application in the background that registers the unique ID of each nearby chip and sends it to the cloud. Then the GPS position of the chip is sent directly to the TrackR Pixel owner.
