How to play the cooperative game

Each player starts the game with 4 cards. On their turn, players must perform one of the following actions: place 1 or 2 cards on the timeline, one at a time, or discard 1 card. At the end of their turn, players draw cards from the draw pile until they have 4 cards in front of them. The next player in clockwise order then begins their turn. The aim of the game is to place as many cards as possible on the timeline. Attempting to place a card can have several outcomes – the card is placed at the beginning of the timeline, the card is placed at the end of the timeline, the card is placed in the second row between two already-placed cards, or the card cannot be placed and the player can no longer use it in the game. Feel free to communicate and discuss your cards as much as possible. Each player has the final say on their turn whether to play or discard the cards in front of them, but they can ask their teammates for advice. The more cards you place on the timeline as a team, the better your score. There is a huge gap between the greenhorn team and the time travellers.
