Traditional wooden toys with an emphasis on ecology and design
The French brand Vilac has been making wooden toys since 1911 in the heart of the Jura Mountains. It combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design and a friendly approach to nature. Vilac is proud to work with ADEME, an agency that oversees the environmental responsibility of French companies. The company minimises the use of plastics in production - even in packaging - and has a new tree planted for every one cut down. The design of the toys is created in collaboration with internationally renowned illustrators and artists - including. Keith Haring, Ingela P. Arrhenius or Suzy Ultman. The result is original, timeless and visually engaging toys that develop children's imaginations.
