For each game, you choose 10 of the 22 possible species of sea creatures and 2 ecosystem cards, which change the victory point system. This makes every game slightly different, with a different strategy. The rules also include a solo mode, a simplified family variant, and scenarios with interesting challenges to complete. In Reef, you score victory points for completed corals, species diversity, clever placement of fish, or by fulfilling ecosystem cards. With each turn, your piece of the sea transforms into a more vibrant, thriving ecosystem with corals and fish living in mutual symbiosis.
