Traxxas X-Maxx 8S Belted 1:5 4WD RTR blue

Traxxas X-Maxx 8S Belted 1:5 4WD RTR blue
A brutally powerful and the largest RC car model from Traxxas, which combines the very best. Whether you're driving on gravel, rough terrain, or tall grass, the X-Maxx 8S, thanks to its size and extreme power, can handle anything with ease. It's aided by top-of-the-line electronics and a VXL-8S drive, with which the RC model can reach speeds of up to 80km/h. It now includes Sledgehammer tyres with an integrated belt for increased durability. The Traxxas X-Maxx is designed for the ultimate driving experience without compromise. It has high ground clearance, a wide track, and top-tier components for extreme performance. The chassis is nylon with a modular construction and integrated shock absorber mounts, which ensures high durability upon impact. The all-metal drivetrain consists of a "Cush Drive" absorption member, front, centre, and rear differentials, an aluminium centre driveshaft, steel half-axles, and wheel hubs with two bearings.

Revolutionary Chassis and Modular Construction
The chassis of the Traxxas X-Maxx RC car is a composite moulding, which is very rigid and at the same time lightweight thanks to its spaceframe concept. As with other Traxxas RC cars, the chassis is modular, meaning it consists of a central section, front section, and rear section. The modular design allows the entire front and rear sections to be removed. In just a few minutes, you have full access for easy servicing and model setup. The modularity of the car's chassis simplifies maintenance, making it easy to get to the differentials, etc. Moreover, in the event of very severe crashes, you don't have to replace the entire model chassis, but only the damaged part.

Traxxas Stability Management
The Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) stabilisation system not only lets you experience the power, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speeds, but also guarantees much easier steering and control on slippery surfaces like dust, smooth concrete, or even ice and snow. The receiver houses a MEMS 3-axis gyro and an accelerometer, which evaluates the model's movement about 100 times per second and corrects the model's driving direction with appropriate interventions in the steering of the front wheels. Traxxas TSM does not limit engine power—you have 100% control over the engine's performance. The algorithms are tuned for each model individually. The level of assistance is set using the multi-function knob on the transmitter or, optionally, in the Traxxas Link application.

Cush Drive Absorption System and Differentials
The innovative Cush Drive system uses a special part equipped with elastomer silent blocks to absorb the impact from the motor. The system replaces the slipper clutch and allows for more efficient and reliable propulsion without complicated adjustments. To distribute the power of the 4×4 drive, the model is equipped with front, centre, and rear differentials. The centre differential uses a very thick 20M cSt oil to utilise full power without slippage during lightning-fast acceleration. The axle differentials are fitted with four metal gears for durability and a long service life.

Body, Steel Half-Axles, Sharp Steering, and Shock Absorbers
A revolutionary innovation is the new body mounting system for the X-Maxx car. The body is not secured with clips, but with a special clip. This eliminates unsightly body mounts, and removing the body is now a matter of seconds. Robust steel driveshafts with a splined output from the differential safely transfer the full power of the motor to the wheels. Thanks to the constant-velocity (CV) joint design, the shafts run smoothly in every suspension position. The Dual-Bellcrank steering system ensures a fast and precise steering response. A cam-style servo saver is located at the top of the post and protects the steering from impacts. The X-Maxx's massive GTX shock absorbers have 5.2mm diameter piston rods made of high-strength steel. The attachment of the shocks to the arms and tower is dual. All pins are made of 4mm diameter steel. The well-dimensioned spaceframe shock towers allow for driving even in very difficult terrain.
Real-Time Telemetry, Automatic Self-Righting
The exclusive controller with advanced electronics is equipped for real-time telemetry measurement. Using a wireless Bluetooth module (sold separately) and the Traxxas Link app, it is possible to monitor speed, engine RPM, and battery voltage, directly in real-time on your phone. The controller provides telemetry data, and no installation of additional sensors is necessary. The Self-Righting function is activated remotely via the transmitter; by sharply accelerating and braking, the model gradually rocks and flips back onto its wheels.

Recommended Accessories
To get the model running, you will need 4× AA batteries for the transmitter, 2× drive batteries, and a charger for the drive batteries.
Universal Traxxas chargers can charge Traxxas LiPo and NiMH type batteries. Traxxas chargers represent a simple and safe way to charge batteries. Traxxas uses a unique iD system, so you can always be sure that you connect everything easily and safely. There is an integrated chip in the battery connector, which the Traxxas charger automatically recognises and sets all battery charging parameters for you. For the routine operation of your Traxxas RC car, you will need thread lock, high-quality tyre glue, silicone shock oil, and a set of screwdrivers.
