The red Stampede 1:10 Monster Truck RC car model is powered by a BL-2S brushless motor and controller for 2S LiPo batteries. The brushless drive system provides more brutal acceleration, a long service life and a speed of up to 64km/h. In addition, the model is factory-equipped with the Extreme Heavy Duty kit for high durability and an exclusive clipless body mounting system. The model is controlled by a two-channel proportional steering wheel Traxxas TQ RC transmitter, operating in the 2.4GHz band for interference-free operation. The transmitter is powered by 4 AA batteries. On the transmitter there is a rotary knob for trimming the steering—so the model drives straight when the steering wheel is in the central position. The battery status in the transmitter is indicated by an LED. The throttle and steering channels can be reversed on the transmitter.

Construction and Handling
The nylon chassis construction gives the red Traxxas Stampede 1:10 BL-2s RTR RC car high strength and durability, and the model is also lightweight and agile. A Magnum 272 gearbox with an adjustable friction clutch is used for the rear-wheel drive. Thanks to the motor's position behind the rear axle, high traction is guaranteed. Excellent handling characteristics are provided by the precise suspension geometry and, combined with the long arm travel, you can tackle even the most challenging terrain. Despite the increased speed and acceleration compared to a DC drive, the affordable operation on 2S LiPo batteries is maintained. Control is provided by the TQ 2.4GHz transmitter with precise steering mechanics. Of course, a wide range of tuning parts is available, including complete replacement parts.
Body and Motor
The brushless drive with a 3300 RPM/V motor increases speed and acceleration by up to 60% compared to other drives with a DC motor. Improved efficiency, high-speed ball bearings and an internal cooling fan give the motor a long service life with minimal maintenance. The factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty suspension and drive components kit is made from durable materials. The clipless body mounting system, which uses tabs in the wheel arches, allows for quick and easy battery replacement and a clean, clip-free look for the model. The body adheres to the clipless mount over a larger area and will not crack.
Drive and Gearbox
The chassis is made of nylon, which is filled with fibreglass for greater strength and toughness. The chassis is spatially shaped to have high rigidity. The motor with gearbox and differential is located in the rear of the model. The drive system forms a compact, enclosed unit, which makes the car a low-maintenance model. The gearbox, disc clutch and planetary differential are enclosed in one compact unit. The gearbox with a friction clutch reliably transfers the engine power to the axles, and the planetary differential gearbox Magnum 272™ has gears made of hardened steel. The system requires absolutely minimal maintenance. Pinions and gears with different numbers of teeth are available, so you can fine-tune the model for both speed and technical tracks. The Revo Spec Torque Control friction clutch ensures smooth power transmission and is adjustable. A correctly set slip rate protects the drivetrain without reducing the model's acceleration.
Suspension and Chassis
The high-travel oil-filled shock absorbers use dual X-rings for a perfect seal and flawless operation. The robust design combined with a high volume of oil can absorb even hard impacts in difficult terrain. You can tune the shock absorbers to your liking by adjusting the springs and changing the oil viscosity. Thanks to the rear wheelie bar, you can enjoy driving on the rear wheels without worrying about the model tipping over. The durable nylon wheel holder also provides extra protection for the motor and gearbox. With more than 10cm of ground clearance at the centre of the chassis, you can take the model to places and overcome obstacles that other RC cars cannot handle. The Bigfoot wheels and tyres run on large All-Star 2.8" chrome wheels. The unique rubber compound of the Talon tyres has high grip on a wide range of surfaces including clay, grass, concrete and rocks. The standard size Traxxas 2056 digital servo with 6.2kg.cm torque is waterproof, with a DC motor and nylon gears, and has a torque of 6.2kg.cm and a speed of 0.20s/60° @ 6.0V. For water resistance, the servo box is fitted with a seal.
Three Programmable Driving Modes
The Traxxas 3300kv brushless motor of the red Traxxas Stampede 1:10 BL-2s RTR RC car provides an ideal affordable drive, especially for 1:10 scale models, with all the benefits including high performance, long life and minimal maintenance. The motor is equipped with a Quick Connect connector for easy connection. It offers three programmable driving modes – Sport, Race and Training. Sport mode allows forward, reverse, brake and reverse driving; Race mode offers forward and brake; and Training mode is set to 50% forward and reverse power and has a brake. They are easily set with a single Traxxas EZ-Set® button. The car is compatible with both LiPo and NiMH batteries. The controller with three driving modes guarantees fun for adults and children alike.
