The Traxxas Maxx Ultimate 1:8 4WD TQi RTR is a fully assembled RC car ready for immediate operation. Package includes painted body, Velineon 540XL brushless motor, VXL-4S controller, 2085R servo, TQi 5-channel receiver with telemetry support and Traxxas TQi transmitter. Also included are service tools - Allen wrenches, Allen wrench, wheel wrench and battery limiter. The chassis is extremely robust, based on the larger X-Maxx and combines an extended modular chassis with high impact resistance. WideMaxx suspension extends the track by 40mm for increased stability and GT-Maxx aluminium shock absorbers with titanium piston rods effectively absorb hard impacts.

Four-wheel drive (4WD) uses metal gears in the differentials, steel CV driveshafts and a Cush drive system that absorbs engine shocks and replaces the conventional clutch. The model has an auto-rotate function - when it rolls onto its side or roof, it can be put back on its wheels with full throttle and the transmitter. The electronics support 3S and 4S LiPo batteries and offer Sport, Race and Trainer modes. The receiver includes a gyroscope and accelerometer that enable active TSM (Traxxas Stability Management) stabilization for control even on slippery surfaces. Using the optional Bluetooth module, telemetry such as speed, RPM, battery voltage and tilt can be monitored.

SledgeHammer 5.6-inch diameter tyres on 2.8-inch chrome wheels with a 17mm wheel lug provide excellent traction even on extreme terrain.
