Watercolour technique and creative possibilities

Staedtler Design Journey pencils work just like classic colouring pencils, but their real strength lies in their watercolour properties. Once you apply the colour to paper, you can blend it with a brush and water to create a beautiful watercolour effect. This technique lets you blend shades smoothly right on the paper and create delicate colour transitions. The extra-soft lead leaves a rich mark that is highly visible even on dark or coloured backgrounds. Additionally, the hexagonal body ensures a comfortable grip that prevents hand fatigue.
