Mideer Dinosaur Excavation - Pterosaur

The Mideer creative set introduces children to the world of palaeontology, where they can try their hand at being an archaeologist. Their task is to carefully uncover and excavate a Pterosaur skeleton hidden inside a plaster block. To do this, they can use the included palaeontology tools – a hammer, a chisel, and a brush. The toy is suitable for children from 6 years of age and is a fun way to develop their dexterity, patience, and interest in science and history.

From excavation to display model

The adventure begins as soon as you unbox the set. Using the hammer and chisel, children gradually chip away at the plaster block and use the brush to dust off the discovered parts of the flying lizard's skeleton. Once all the bones are out, the second part of the fun begins. The individual pieces need to be correctly assembled to form a complete Pterosaur skeleton. Children can then display the finished model on the included stand, which also features a colourful background depicting the dinosaur in its natural habitat. The set also includes a sheet with 11 stickers of different dinosaur species.
