In the party game Explosive Pigeon, two teams compete in a crazy version of hot potato. Each round starts with someone starting the timer by pressing a button on the underside of the pigeon shaker - and the cooing begins. One of the teams is given a challenge to complete as quickly as possible - whetherby drawing, pantomiming or guessingusing word clues. If you master it, you'll quickly pass the shaker to your opponents. But if you hold it when it explodes, you lose a point. The game is perfect for family nights, groups of friends and fun at parties. The game is designed for 3 or more players aged 7 and over and you should allow approximately 10 minutes per game. It works best in two teams, but the rules also allow for a variant for three individuals. Anyone who is not afraid to get a little embarrassed during charades, can think quickly and has a sense of humour can handle it.

Types of challenges in the game
There are several types of challenges to choose from in the party game Explosive Pigeon. The "Sequential Guessing" challenge, where you describe the word with one-word clues that your team must always guess between, the "Pigeon Pictures" challenge, where you draw the word on a transparent part of the shaker using a wipeable marker. In the "Charades Seated" challenge, you perform a wordless, seated performance, and the "Pass the Wing" challenge, where all team members mimic wing flapping. "Rock, paper, scissors" is a quick duel with your opponent that you must win. "Shake again" means that you draw a new challenge. The game starts by starting the timer. Next, perform, draw or fight - but whatever you do, do it quickly. Hand over the pigeon before it explodes.

Exploding Pigeon is a 2025 game designed by Brian Spencer. The company behind its release is American company Exploding Kittens, known primarily for its eponymous card game. The Czech localisation took place in the same year. The game continues the brand's tradition of simple, crazy and imaginative board games.
