Key features of the card game Explosive Kittens: Adjacent edition

What the game is about

In the hilarious card game Explosive Kittens: The adjacent edition you become part of a dangerous cat roulette. Your goal is to avoid the exploding kittens and stay as the last survivor. You draw a card every turn and hope you don't run into an explosive kitten. If this happens, you have one last chance to save yourself with the Disarm card. The game offers a variety of action cards to help you manipulate the deck, predict the future or sabotage your opponents' plans. For example, you can use the "See the Future" card to peek at the top cards of the deck, or play the "No! " to thwart another player's action. The combination of these cards creates an exciting and unpredictable game dynamic. This new edition adds a new dimension to the popular game and is a great addition for fans of the original Explosive Kittens.

History of the game and its creators

Explosive kittens: The Adventure Edition was released in 2015 as an expansion to the original Explosive Kittens, which became a phenomenon thanks to its record-breaking Kickstarter campaign that raised a staggering $8.7 million. A trio of creative minds - Matthew Inman - are behind the creation of Exploding Kitting, a well-known American creator of webcomics, Elan Lee, former lead designer for Xbox, and Shane Small, former Xbox and Marvel developer. The Adapted Edition was created in response to demand for a bolder version of the game with illustrations that could not be used in the original, family-friendly version. Due to its success, this edition later became a stand-alone version that can be combined with the original game.
