Eurographics puzzles are different from classic jigsaws. The manufacturer uses Smart-Cut technology, where the die does not follow a standard grid. The individual pieces have unusual shapes and their corners and edges are not always aligned. This makes them more difficult than regular puzzles.

The pieces are made from 2mm thick European blue board cardboard. The surface is made of linen paper, which has an anti-reflective layer to reduce glare. The Canadian brand Eurographics uses non-toxic, plant-based inks and places an emphasis on recycled and fully recyclable materials.
