The E-flite Cherokee 1.3m was designed as a tribute to the legendary PA-28 Cherokee and has become very popular due to its excellent handling and many mock-up features - including navigation and landing lights, full-flex elevator, functional flaps and other details. The current, redesigned version brings an improved drive system, which includes the Spektrum Avian 70A Smart Lite controller. The model features a number of realistic features such as moulded panels, rivets, undulating control surfaces and factory-installed LED lights. Details accentuate the authentic look and make the Cherokee 1.3m an attractive mock-up not only in the air but also on the ground. The suspension bow leg has a newly designed steering and attachment mechanism for easier maintenance. The large wheels allow take-off and landing not only from asphalt, but also from dirt or short-cut grass.

Removable wings with cable-less servo connections include slotted flaps to improve low-speed maneuverability and reduce takeoff and landing time. Assembly and disassembly is quick and easy. The upper cabin cover is extremely spacious and allows convenient access to the electronics and battery. It includes a pilot figure and a new plastic dashboard panel that prevents the foam from deforming due to heat ("gatoring"). The space can easily accommodate 3S or 4S LiPo batteries with a capacity of 2200-4000 mAh.

Advanced stabilisation technologies, telemetry
The BNF Basic version of the Cherokee 1.3m is equipped with the AS3X stabilization system, which helps to dampen the effects of wind and turbulence, so the flight is calmer and the model gives the impression of a larger machine. Optionally, the SAFE Select system can be activated to limit tilts and automatically level the model when the levers are released. AS3X The Spektrum Avian Smart Lite 70A controller provides important real-time power information such as motor speed, current, battery voltage and more. Telemetry also works with conventional (non-Smart) batteries if a compatible receiver is used (e.g. AR631) and a transmitter with AirWare function (e.g. DX6e, DX8e, NX series, iX12-iX20).
Powerful drive system without the need for modifications
The factory-fitted brushless motor and 70A Smart ESC provide powerful thrust with the 3S battery, or even more power and unlimited vertical flight with the 4S battery - without any modifications or replacements. The optimized propeller with a smaller diameter improves ground clearance, efficiency and flight time. The model is processed to the smallest detail - you will find moulded panels, rivets, undulating control surfaces, transparent cabin windows, seats, pilot figure and instrument panel with plastic cover, which prevents deformation of the foam due to heat ("gatoring"). The colour scheme combines classic style with a modern finish. The accurately captured shape of the fuselage and the constant profile of the wings match the original. Functional slotted flaps ensure a shorter take-off and better low speed flight. The fully movable elevator (stabilizer) has a newly designed attachment for higher precision. The suspension chassis and large wheels allow operation on asphalt, dirt and grass. Lighting includes position lights, strobes, beacon and landing lights.
Solid and lightweight construction
The hull is made of composite reinforced EPO foam, which allows for precise surface finish while maintaining light weight and high durability. The result is a realistic appearance, easy maintenance and a great flying experience. The model does not require gluing - everything is designed for quick assembly with screws. The two-piece wings are easily removable and have wireless servo connections and LED lighting, making handling convenient and cable-free.
Designed for more advanced pilots (Skill Level 2)
The Cherokee 1.3m model is designed for intermediate modelers who have experience with controlling and building similar aircraft. Although it is one of the best handling Cherokee models, it is not suitable as a first model for complete beginners. Previous experience with models such as the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Valiant 1.3m or Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m is recommended.
Optional SAFE Select protection
If you're just starting out or want to feel more confident, you can simply activate SAFE Select. Mode provides electronic flight envelope protection and automatic model leveling - ideal for learning or quiet flying. Activation is done when the model is paired according to simple instructions - without any programming.
