Prepare to defend. In the seventh expansion to the popular game Carcassonne you face new threats. Your thriving city is under attack by enemies, and it's up to you to reinforce the walls and protect your territory. Send your people to the fortifications to gain valuable points for each defender. But beware, if you don't do enough to defend yourself, you risk losing some of your territory when your enemies attack.

All new cards and figures can be combined with the base game

The Conquest and Defence expansion brings new strategic elements and dynamics to the game. The game plan expands to include a two-part fortress board with triple walls for knights, robbers, monks and abbots. Each time you place a piece on the game board, you can place an additional piece on the corresponding fortress walls. However, watch out for the conquest symbols on the new cards, which can lead to the placement of catapults and even unexpected attacks on your walls. The game is ideal for 2-6 players who want to bring more interaction and tension to the classic Carcassonne. The expansion is designed to be combined with other expansions to provide a new level of variety and fun. Note that this expansion cannot be played alone and requires the base game Carcassonne.
