Durable, powerful and ready for any terrain
Each Limited Edition chassis has a unique serial number laser engraved into the engine's nameplate. The 1982 Base Camp Chevrolet K10 features the proven Axial SCX 10 III chassis design to successfully tackle the toughest trails. The model features a chassis with C-shaped steel profiles that minimize chassis flexing and twisting. The single speed gearbox has ball bearings and metal gearing for high strength and durability. Excellent suspension is provided by oil-filled aluminium shock absorbers for authentic ride characteristics.

SCX10 III chassis and PRO-LINE shock absorbers
The model is equipped with a chassis reinforced with C-shaped steel profiles, which are connected by transverse bracing that increases the overall rigidity of the model, minimizing bending and twisting - thus achieving precise steering, which is important for overcoming obstacles in trial rides. Pro-Line's best-performing shock absorbers are the Big Bore Scaler, which are installed in the car and feature a two-stage coil-spring construction, a hard chrome-plated shaft and low-friction X-ring, threaded aluminum body and nut. The spring preload can be easily adjusted using the nut on the body. For better performance, the shock absorbers are larger, or with a higher shock volume.

Tyres and wheels PRO-LINE
Hyrax G 8 Class 1 tyres are ready for any terrain you want to tackle. They are designed from the ground up for maximum grip in difficult terrain and feature highly detailed sidewalls for a mock-up style. Offering huge power and taking realism to the next level, the Pro-Line Rock Shooter three-piece wheels feature a CNC machined aluminum surface and a durable nylon center and rear section.

Official PRO-LINE license and limited edition
The body of the 1982 Chevy K10 features a number of details that complete the car's mock-up appearance, including a sculpted grille, front and rear bumpers, brake lights, and two-piece side mirrors. The 40th Anniversary Limited Edition is exclusive to this car and will not be available separately. The manufacturer will deliver only 1982 units of the limited edition Pro-Line to the market, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Pro-Line Racing. Axial adds to their appeal to collectors by including special limited edition decals and a laser-etched unique serial number on the engine bed plate.
Optimised geometry, LED body lighting and metal connectors
The geometry of the SCX10 III Base Camp 4 WD front suspension is optimized to reduce the "bump steer" effect, i.e. the axle turning when crossing obstacles. While the 4-link rear suspension minimises torque-induced twisting under acceleration. The realism of the model will continue when you go on an adventure after dark. The limited edition SCX10 III Pro-Line 1982 Chevy K10 features an LED lighting system that makes both the headlights and the amber marker lights functional. All the couplers on the model are metal, the end caps are on stainless steel ball studs for long lasting performance.
PRO-LINE limited edition coins
Included with the set is a special commemorative coin that marks Pro-Line's 40 years as a leader in high-performance tires, bodies and accessories. One side shows the 40th anniversary logo with the Pro-Line tyre and the other side shows all the Pro-Line logos used throughout its history.
