RC model of Axial SCX10 III Base Camp Crawler in 1:10 scale with 4×4 drive is designed for all fans of expedition driving in the field, obstacle crossing and rock trials. The advantage is the chassis with C-shaped steel profiles that minimize flexing and twisting of the chassis which is fully equipped with ball bearings for smooth running. The portal axles provide sufficient ground clearance for easy manoeuvring off-road. The gears are metal on the drivetrain for high durability. The transmission used is LCXU with 4-wheel drive. Excellent suspension is provided by oil-filled aluminium shock absorbers for authentic performance. The model is equipped with licensed Black Rhino wheels with Falken Wildpeak tyres in R 35 compound. 116 × 47 mm, combining optimum grip with durability.

Axial SCX 10 III Base Camp 4 WD
It is factory assembled and contains reliable Spektrum electronics - a powerful 540 35 T DC motor, powered by a 40 A Firma controller. The steering is fitted with a waterproof servo with metal gears. SLT 3 RC kit with reliable 2.4 GHz transmission and all the settings you need. Base Camp now also includes many new accessories for a better look, such as a snorkel, hull frame with accessories (toolbox and running boards), side mirrors and door handles. To operate the model, you only need a 2-3S LiPo power battery with EC 3 or IC 3 connector and a suitable charger.
SCX 10 III chassis, AR 45 portal axles and side sill rails
The model is equipped with a chassis reinforced with C-shaped steel profiles, which are connected by transverse bracing to increase the overall rigidity of the model, minimizing bending and twisting. This achieves precise steering, which is important for overcoming obstacles in trial rides. The included AR 45 portal axles provide increased ground clearance for better ground clearance. The gearbox in the gantry also increases torque. Durable side sill rails improve both appearance and performance by not only protecting the body and chassis, but also helping Base Camp glide over obstacles.
LCXU single-speed transmission, stylish bodywork with accessories and optimised geometry
A new 1-speed LCXU gearbox with metal gearing and low centre of gravity was produced for the model. It is completely fitted with ball bearings, ensuring smooth running and long life. The internal gears can be switched to use a tuning wheelbase conversion kit. The detailed polycarbonate bodywork of the pick-up gives an exciting, modern look - accentuated by numerous scale accessories. Also included are officially licensed DeMello Off-road high leading edge bumpers. The geometry of the SCX 10 III Base Camp 4 WD Rock Crawler front suspension is optimised to reduce bump steer, the axle turning when crossing obstacles. While the 4-link rear suspension minimises torque-induced twisting under acceleration.
Motor, controller, receiver box and 3 channel RC kit
The drive system consists of a new Axial Slickrock 35 T DC motor and a Spektrum 40 A waterproof controller. With this simple and reliable combo, you'll spend more time on the trails and less time doing maintenance. The sealed receiver box protects the Spektrum SR 515 DSMR 5-channel receiver from dirt and splashing water. RC kit with SLT 3 transmitter and SR 515 receiver provides reliable control in the 2.4 GHz band. All basic functions can be set on the transmitter: Throttle and steering trim, maximum steering channel deflection limit, reverse, 50%, 75% and 100% engine power limiter. A free third channel hides the potential for upgrades, such as. addition and control of lights, winch, etc. The receiver can also be used with Spektrum universal display and multi-channel transmitters such as the Spektrum DX 6 C, DX 6 Rugged, DX 5 Pro or iXSR.
Oil dampers, RHINO wheels and Falken Wildpeak tyres
Aluminum shock absorbers are oil-filled for authentic real-car ride and handling. The spring preload can be easily adjusted using the nut on the body. For better performance, the shock absorbers are larger or have a higher oil volume. Rhino dummy black discs are officially licensed. The discs are one-piece with imitation Beadlock ring. Falken Wildpeak 4.7 high R 35 compound tyres measure 116 × 47 mm, providing higher ground clearance and more grip on dirt, rocks and other off-road trails.
