The ARRMA Typhon Grom 223S BLX 1:14 4WD Smart RTR is a compact yet powerful RC buggy that delivers excellent size, performance and handling. This model is the ideal choice for anyone who needs the fastest, durable and easy to handle buggy for off-road and paved roads, whether you are a beginner or an advanced rider. The model is powered by a Spektrum Firma 4500 Kv brushless motor, which in conjunction with a Spektrum SLT DSC 2-in-1 (25A) controller provides smooth, efficient and powerful operation. All-wheel drive (4WD) provides excellent traction, electronic stability control (DSC) helps maintain direction in challenging conditions, and waterproof electronics allow you to drive even in wet conditions. With the 3S LiPo battery, speeds of up to 80 km/h can be achieved, making the Typhon a really fast machine, while with the 2S battery it can reach up to 56 km/h. Also included is a Spektrum Smart 1400 mAh 2S LiPo battery and a Smart G2 Mini USB-C charger.

TYPHON GROM 223S BLX equipped with ARRMA parts for durability and handling of high-speed 3S impacts. These include an assembled oil differential, metal axle and wheel hub, aluminium oil dampers and adjustable steering rods. For durability, it has pohon and installed waterproof servo control Spektrum SX110 metal gears. The enclosed drivetrain with robust metal gears transfers power from the installed Spektrum 4500Kv brushless motor to all four wheels for high traction. The entire drive system is well protected for reliable performance on any terrain.
Bodywork faithful to the original
The racing buggy body is professionally painted from the factory in a distinctive colour scheme. It captures the unmistakable look and shape of the original ARRMA TYPHON in small scale. Durable wheels and buggy tyres add traction on the ground. The TYPHON GROM 223S BLX body is easy, quick and secure to fit to the chassis and is removed by simply squeezing and releasing. Because there is no need to force small clips, this system of attaching the hull is ideal even for young bashers.
Useful features for beginners and experienced riders
The Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) is built into the Spectrum electronics of the car. With four selectable modes, DSC automatically applies steering corrections to improve your handling, confidence and safety, whether you're driving on high or low grip surfaces. Once you gain experience, just turn off the DSC and rely on your own skills. Another aid for novice drivers is the throttle limiting function of the supplied Spektrum SLT2 2-channel transmitter. It can help you learn to drive safely by limiting the maximum available driving speed to 50% or 75% until you are ready. The throttle limiter, DSC and 2S or 3S battery option work together so you never have to worry about going faster than you can handle.
