Uniform pressure distribution
The Thermal Grizzly Contact Sealing Frame AM5 creates multiple contact points to the heatspreader and replaces the standard SAM (Smart Access Mamory) motherboard. The contact surfaces of the CPU are evenly seated on the pins of the socket, thus avoiding, for example, problems with the detection of system memory.
Silicone foam insert
It is placed on the PCB of the processor and seals the gap between the heatspreader and the aluminum frame. This prevents thermal paste or liquid metal from reaching unprotected CPU components. Silicone insert is optional when used with thermal pastes, but mandatory when used with liquid metal.
User-friendly set-up
Installation is simple and user-friendly thanks to the frame markings. Due to the bulge on the north side of the sleeve, mounting is only possible in one orientation. Four screws for mounting the frame and an Allen and angle wrench are included.
