Speed and frequency bands
This tri-band system transfers data at a total speed of up to 5665Mbps using the 802.11ax standard. The device divides the power into three separate bands, which reduces interference and ensures the network runs smoothly even under heavy load. MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies coordinate communication with many clients simultaneously, while Beamforming directs the wireless signal directly to connected devices on the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands.
Roaming and coverage
The two modules in the package work together within a single WiFi+ Mesh network under one SSID name, covering an area of up to 240m². The system supports IEEE 802.11k/v/r roaming protocols, which automatically switch end devices to a more suitable node without interrupting the connection. You can connect more than 200 active devices to the network at the same time, and you can easily extend the coverage by adding more compatible Tenda Nova modules. Data transmission is protected by modern WPA3 encryption, along with the older WPA and WPA2 standards. An integrated firewall protects the internal network from UDP Flood, TCP Flood, and ICMP Flood attacks.
Connectivity options
For secure remote connections, there is an integrated VPN server and client mode with support for PPTP and L2TP protocols. The security features are complemented by parental controls with filter support, a separate guest network, protection against network attacks, and client MAC address filtering. Each module has physical interfaces on its body for reliable wired data transfer. It offers one Gigabit WAN/LAN 1000Mbps port and two Gigabit LAN 1000Mbps ports for connecting desktops, TVs, printers, or NAS network storage.
