Teltonika RUTM55 is a compact industrial mobile 5G router designed for harsh environments. This advanced router delivers 5G connectivity with high speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps and ensures reliable connectivity. It is equipped with RutOS, that supports industry protocols and various VPNs. It is a Linux-based OpenWRT operating system. This system offers advanced security features and compatibility with the RMS remote management system. The robust design withstands harsh operating conditions, vibrations and extreme temperatures. The 5G router also ensures high reliability and long-term stability even in continuous operation.

Connectivity and interface options
The RUTM55 offers versatile connectivity options. It has 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports (3× Gigabit LAN and 1× Gigabit WAN) and Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11b/g/n/ac Wave 2). It is also equipped with two SIM cards and support for up to 7 eSIM profiles with automatic backup switching in case of failure. Router allows connection of legacy devices via RS232/RS485 interface. In addition, it offers GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS), digital I/O and serial ports. With its 3-pin power input, the RUTM55 is adapted for industrial use.
Support for 5G SA and NSA architectures
RUTM55 is compatible with SA and NSA architectures, that use 5G infrastructure. The main difference between the NSA (Non-Standalone Architecture) and SA (Standalone Architecture) is that the NSA uses elements of the 4G radio access network, while the SA variant connects 5G devices directly to the 5G backbone network, with the control signalling not depending on the 4G network at all.
Advanced security and network protocols
Data security in this router is provided by a wide range of software features, such as SMS control, firewall, OpenVPN, IPSec and RMS. TCP network protocols are also available, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, NTP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, FTP, SMTP, SSL/TLS, ARP, VRRP, PPP, PPPoE, UPNP, SSH, DHCP, Telnet, SMPP, SNMP, MQTT and Wake On Lan (WOL).
