WFT GLISS KG, Yellow, 0.14mm, 8kg, 150m

The WFT GLISS KG Yellow fishing line is an unbraided line that combines the properties of a monofilament with significantly higher strength. Thanks to almost zero stretch, you have instant contact with both your lure and the fish, which enables a precise strike. Its round and smooth surface helps you cast further and with more accuracy. The line is mainly intended for spinning and light sea fishing. It offers a breaking strain of 8kg with a diameter of 0.14mm.

Construction and high strength

The WFT GLISS KG line stands out with its unbraided construction. Its mechanical properties are similar to a monofilament line, but it has almost 4× higher strength at the same diameter. This combination is ideal for situations where a thin diameter and a high breaking strain are needed. The fineness and smoothness of the surface minimise friction in the rod guides, which contributes to a longer lifespan. The line is also abrasion-resistant, so it handles contact with underwater obstacles well.

Performance when casting and fighting fish

The round profile and smooth surface promote longer and more accurate casts. The line unwinds quietly from the spool and passes through the rod guides with minimal friction. Almost zero stretch contributes to sensitive detection of even gentle bites and supports an immediate, effective strike. Because it does not absorb water, its properties remain consistent throughout your fishing session. The floating design and reflective finish make it easier to track its position on the water's surface.
