What is collagen and what do we need it for

Collagen is a protein that serves as the basis of the connective tissue of all organs. Skin and bones, ligaments and tendons, cartilage, internal organs - almost everything in the human body consists of connective tissue.

Collagen serves as both a building material and the "glue" that makes up all the cells in the body.
