The SXT Z3 electric scooter is the ideal transport for short trips across the city. It offers remarkable mileage efficiency, not to mention time efficiency - you can easily go right through traffic jams. The scooter is ideal for commuting to work or school, and requires a driver's licence (either "B" or at least for small motorcycles). Its 2kW electric motor reaches speeds of up to 45km/h and the Li-Ion battery from Panasonic offers a range of up to 60km (up to 120km in ECO mode) on a single charge. The battery can be charged in about 6 hours, so not only can you charge it overnight, but also during your daily lectures or while you're at work.
The maximum speed is limited to 45km/h by law, but it is enough for the city. The motor has enough power to handle clims of up to 21%. If you also bring a co-rider, the scooter will not perform at dizzying speeds, but the amount of space for the second passenger is clearly a welcome bonus. Another great advantage is the short charging time - the scooter can be fully charged in only 6 hours from an electrical socket, but if you use a special quick charger, the charging time goes down to just 2 hours.
The scooter is fitted with 12" tires on aluminum discs. The front brake is hydraulic/disc, while the rear brake is adjusted according to EEC directive. The scooter is also equipped with ABS. Hydropneumatic shock absorbers provide rear suspension, while the front is purely hydraulic. The high load capacity (up to 200kg) allows safe riding with another passenger. All important riding information is shown on the clear LCD display, which also features a digital tachometer.
