Instructions for setting the Acer TSA trunk lock
You can change the combination of numbers using the following procedure:
1. Set the combination on the lock to open (the manufacturer's preset code is 0-0-0). 2. Push the reset button with a pencil or other pointed object until you hear a clicking sound. 3. Set your new number on the dial pad and remember it well. 4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow.
This will return the reset button to its original position and you will hear a click. At this point, a new numeric code has been set. If you wish to change your code number, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
Release the zipper sliders to open the trunk by entering the correct code and pressing the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the factory code is preset to 0-0-0 if you have not already set your own code).
TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily designed to make it easy to open your luggage without damaging it during any inspection. At the same time, this check can be carried out more quickly. With this type of lock, TSA security officers can open and inspect your bag without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are identified by the code TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key that is used to open this type of lock. After checking your luggage, these staff are required to insert a check notice into your suitcase and the suitcase must be relocked.
