The Rock Shox Monarch RL rear shock absorber is exceptionally-smooth running,  thanks to a new slim design. When riding in heavy terrain, in races or going downhill, this shock absorber will handle any rough or uneven surface. The big advantage of Rock Shox is the SAG (SAG = idle fork when rider is loaded) gradients that is cut directly onto the body of the shock absorber, making it easier to adjust. The new design guarantees maximum reliability, long service life and a minimal failure rate. Assembly pins must be ordered for assembly.

Solo Air

The Rock Shox Monarch RL is equipped with a Solo Air system, filling both negative and positive air chambers simultaneously from one valve.The air piston is designed to straighten the pressure in both compartments by adding pressure. This makes it easier to achieve a more balanced ride.
