The Petzl ATTACHE screw-lock is a compact carabiner, an indispensable aid in mountaineering. Thanks to its compact shape and screw lock lock, it is used to connect a belay device to a mooring or securing device for a half-ship knot. The H-shaped profile of the carabiner, which is obtained by 3D hot forging, reduces its weight without affecting its strength. It is equipped with a Key Lock system to prevent accidental capture. The friction surfaces of the carabiner facilitate smooth passage of the rope and positioning in the belay station. The shape of the carabiner is adapted for easy tying and untying of the boat loop. The Petzl ATTACHE screw-lock also features a smooth transition between the latch and the carabiner body, reducing the possibility of a loop or strap getting caught in the latch or locking mechanism.
