Luminous flux
Measured in lumens (lm), the higher the value, the more intensely the headlamp shines. Some LED headlamps offer multiple light intensity levels, adjustable either in steps or continuously. However, a higher luminous flux shortens the battery life.Up to 100lm – a headlamp for home use (lighting in the cellar, attic, or when repairing a car).
100–400lm – outdoor use (night running, cycling, camping).
Over 400lm – extreme professions and sports (rescuers, mountaineers).
