OUTEQ 2000lm, 5626cd IPX6 Headlamp HL1

OUTEQ 2000lm, 5626cd IPX6 Headlamp HL1
The OUTEQ HL1 is a rechargeable LED headlamp with two independent light sources: a narrow spotlight with a beam distance of up to 150 metres, and a wide floodlight for illuminating your immediate surroundings and a red light that preserves your night vision. In spotlight mode, it reaches up to 2000 lumens, charges via USB-C directly in the body, and tilts within a 90° range. It's suitable for any situation where you need powerful light and both hands free, from night work to camping and running.
Key features of the OUTEQ 2000 lm, 5626cd IPX6 HeadLamp HL1
- Dual optics: spotlight shines up to 2000 lumens with a beam distance of up to 150 metres, floodlight evenly illuminates your immediate surroundings, and red light preserves night vision
- Independent controls: two top buttons activate the spotlight and floodlight separately or simultaneously, with each source having its own modes
- 90° tilting: tilt the body exactly where you need the light to go, and the headband with top strap holds the headlamp in place even when you're moving
- Durable construction: the aluminium body with an IPX6 rating can handle rain and strong water jets, while thermal protection monitors the temperature at full power
- USB-C charging: charge the headlamp with your phone cable, and a coloured LED shows the charging progress and remaining battery capacity
- Two lights on your head, hands free
Spotlight and floodlight
The headlamp combines two sources with different optics, so you don't have to choose between beam distance and width. The narrow spotlight reaches up to 150 metres and delivers up to 2000 lumens in Extreme mode, which is enough for navigating terrain, searching, or moving along an unmarked path. The wide floodlight evenly illuminates the area directly in front of you, typically a work surface, a book page, or the trail at your feet. The red light in the window between the optics preserves your eyes' adaptation to darkness and won't dazzle others, making it ideal for reading a map at night or moving around a sleeping campsite. In the low-power Low mode, the spotlight can last up to 230 hours on a single charge.
Two sources with independent controls
The spotlight and floodlight each have their own button on the top of the body, distinguished by a narrow and wide beam symbol. The spotlight cycles through four brightness levels: Low, Medium, High, and Extreme. The floodlight offers red light, two levels of white light, plus an SOS signal and a slow flash for visibility. The sources can run independently or both at once: the combination is useful for night-time repairs, for example, when you need a sharp detail in front of you and an overview of your surroundings at the same time. Both sources are turned on and off by holding the respective button, and the modes cycle through, so you always know which level is next.
90° tilting
The headlamp body is set in a mount that tilts within a 90° range, so you can aim the light at your feet, onto your workspace, or into the distance without tilting your head back. This makes the biggest difference when working in one place for longer, as you can set the beam once and then focus solely on your task. Tilting it down is also useful when talking to someone, as the direct light won't shine into their eyes.
Breathable headband with a top strap
The headband, made from a breathable, perforated material, is complemented by a top strap that runs over the crown of your head, preventing the headlamp from slipping down when you're running or working bent over. The perforation reduces sweating under the band during extended wear. You can adjust the length of both the main and top straps with buckles to fit your head size. The entire headlamp weighs just 186.6 grams, including the battery and headband.
Aluminium body, IPX6 rating and protective features
The body, made of AL6061-T6 aluminium alloy with an anodised surface, helps to dissipate heat from the LED in higher modes and withstands abrasion during outdoor use. The IPX6 rating protects the headlamp from rain and strong jets of water, but it is not designed for submersion. The charging port is also sealed by a rubber cover that prevents water and dirt from getting in when not charging. During long periods of use at full power, thermal protection reduces the brightness and restores it after cooling down, so you can use Extreme mode without worrying about overheating. Protection is complemented by a reverse polarity safeguard against incorrect battery insertion and a lockout mode to prevent accidental activation, stopping it from draining in your backpack.
USB-C charging and battery overview
The headlamp charges via a USB-C connector directly in the body, so your phone cable and adapter will do the job. An indicator light monitors the progress: red shows while charging, green indicates a full charge. You can check the battery status at any time by pressing a button: green means 80 to 100% capacity, yellow 30 to 80%, red 5 to 30%, and a flashing red light indicates the last 1 to 5%. This way, you'll know if it's time to plug in the cable before a multi-day trip. Power is supplied by a replaceable 21700 Li-ion cell with a 4000mAh capacity, so you can pack a spare battery for longer expeditions.
