NIKWAX Tent & Gear Solarproof is an effective impregnator with UV protection designed for tents, backpacks and all non-permeable synthetic materials. The impregnation restores and improves the water resistance of fabrics, increases their strength and protects them against UV radiation. This extends the service life and optimises the functionality of the material. It is suitable for materials exposed to prolonged sunlight, including nylon, polyester and cellotape. It is easy to use, with the help of a mechanical sprayer. NIKWAX Tent & Gear Solarproof is recommended for tents, canopies, awnings, sails, backpacks, bags, camera bags, cameras, etc.

Use:
1. Protect the surrounding work area, clean the equipment with water or a special cleaner before impregnation. It is advisable to have the equipment slightly dampened before impregnation. Have your equipment set up or tent erected.
2. Spray evenly on the outside of the fabric.
3. Wait 2 minutes. Wipe off excess spray with a damp cloth.
4. Check thoroughly that all surfaces have been sprayed.
Drying:
Items should be allowed to air dry (after a few minutes, wipe off any excess spray with a damp cloth). Allow items to dry completely before packing. Always use this product on new or used tents and equipment to ensure they are perfectly waterproof and protected against UV damage. Remember to wash your tents and equipment with Nikwax SolarWash before applying Nikwax SolarProof®.
Quantity needed:
Approximately 50 ml of product per 1 m2 of fabric. Consumption is approximate, depends on the condition of the fabric.
Remark:
If you do not remove the excess layers, stains may appear.
