The Loap IDAHO 4 is the ideal tent for family trips to the outdoors. This double tent for 4 people offers plenty of space, comfort and protection from the weather. The tent has a Drytech polyurethane coating, which ensures high waterproofness and sun resistance. The tent is a dome type, which means that it has a stable and easy to assemble structure made of 8.5 mm fiberglass rods. The inner tent is made of breathable polyester, which prevents condensation. The liner is made of laminated polyethylene with a water column of 3,000 mm, which protects against moisture and dirt.

Drytech technology and fibreglass tent construction
DRYTECH is a high quality polyurethane coating with a microporous structure, it is very tensile and tear resistant. The DRYTECH coating reliably keeps you dry in adverse weather and climate conditions. Fibreglass rods forming the structure of many hiking tents are familiar to most camping enthusiasts. The rods are connected to each other by a coupling, which you can easily feel if you run your finger over the connected rods. It's sort of raised and sometimes it happens that when pulling the rod through the tunnels it scrubs. Their clear advantage is their favourable price.
How to choose the right tent
The structure affects the durability of the tent, so you should pay enough attention to it when choosing a tent. There are 2 types of construction - laminate and duralumin. Their use depends on the purpose for which the tent is to be used. Ordinary hiking tents can easily get by with fibreglass poles. They are not as strong and light as duralumin rods, but for standard purposes they are absolutely sufficient and cheaper. You can either have a classic fiberglass construction or a durawrap construction.
Proper care of the tent
Pack the tent and pegs only dry, cleaned and free of dirt or mud. Store the tent in a dry, well-ventilated place. Ideally, take the tent out of its packaging (or at least leave the packaging open). Store bars and pins separately. Store the sticks folded. Remove any stains with a brush or soapy water solution. Never use detergents that may interfere with the water-repellent finish of the material. Cleaning other than the specified cleaning method may damage the product.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water leakage. Indicates the amount of water that the material is able to hold before it begins to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Each tent should have a tropical canopy with a water column of at least 2,000 mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80-90 km/h. If you want to weather the storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000 mm is a better bet. A water column of 5,000 mm is recommended for normal hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a subfloor with a water column of 8,000-10,000 mm.Specifications
