The Loap GRANITE 4 - a double-walled tent for 4 people with spacious apse is a great choice for your outdoor adventures. Thanks to the Drytech polyurethane coating, it will protect you from the weather. With its dome shape and internal construction with durawrap members, it's easy and quick to build, yet strong and stable. A compression sleeve with pockets for pins, lines and rods will help you carry it. The interior of the GRANITE 4 is spacious, ensuring plenty of room for comfortable sleep and relaxation. Two entrances with apses make it easy to move around inside the tent, and ventilation holes ensure optimal airflow. In addition, the two shorter roof bars significantly enlarge the apse, which is a great feature for more comfort.

Drytech technology and durawrap construction
DRYTECH is a high quality polyurethane coating with a microporous structure, it is very tensile and tear resistant. The DRYTECH coating reliably keeps you dry in adverse weather and climate conditions. Durawrap is a tuned laminate that makes setting up a tent a pleasure. You can recognize the durawrap bars by their distinctive diamond pattern. Durawrap material is more expensive than classic fibreglass, but in return it offers greater strength for the same weight of the rods. The surface of the rods is additionally covered with a furring and the ends of the rods are fitted with metal connectors.
How to choose the right tent
The structure affects the durability of the tent, so you should pay enough attention to it when choosing a tent. There are 2 types of construction - laminate and duralumin. Their use depends on the purpose for which the tent is to be used. Ordinary hiking tents can easily get by with fibreglass poles. They are not as strong and light as duralumin rods, but for standard purposes they are absolutely sufficient and cheaper. You can either have a classic fiberglass construction or a durawrap construction.
Proper care of the tent
Pack the tent and pegs only dry, cleaned and free of dirt or mud. Store the tent in a dry, well-ventilated place. Ideally, take the tent out of its packaging (or at least leave the packaging open). Store bars and pins separately. Store the sticks folded. Remove any stains with a brush or soapy water solution. Never use detergents that may interfere with the water-repellent finish of the material. Cleaning other than the specified cleaning method may damage the product.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water leakage. Indicates the amount of water that the material is able to hold before it begins to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Each tent should have a tropical canopy with a water column of at least 2,000 mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80-90 km/h. If you want to weather the storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000 mm is a better bet. A water column of 5,000 mm is recommended for normal hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a subfloor with a water column of 8,000-10,000 mm.Specifications
