The Kaiwo Black Edition LR 425 fishing rod is a carp special designed for achieving long casting distances. The rod blank is made from TORAY T1100G M40X carbon, which combines strength with a low weight. Thanks to its construction and 4lb test curve, the rod enables casts up to 200 metres. It consists of four sections, which makes it easy to transport to the water, making it suitable for anglers who need to cast long distances from the bank.

Blank construction for long casts

The core of the rod is a blank made from TORAY T1100G M40X carbon material. This type of carbon provides a high fibre density for great strength and sensitivity while maintaining a weight of 363g.

Rod components

The Kaiwo Black Edition LR 425 rod is fitted with eight titanium SiC guides. The SiC (silicon carbide) inserts minimise friction for smooth line passage, helping to achieve long casts and protecting the line from damage. The carbon reel seat secures the reel in place.

For long-distance casting

With a 4lb test curve, the rod is designed for carp fishing and long-distance casting. For optimal performance and to achieve casts up to the 200-metre mark, the manufacturer recommends using leads weighing 125–135g. This weight loads the rod blank, allowing you to utilise its full potential. The handle, with a diameter of 14.6mm, provides a secure grip during casting and playing fish.
