GCI SitBacker Black

The GCI SitBacker seat transforms your paddling into a comfortable experience, even on longer water expeditions. It is designed for easy attachment to the benches of most canoes and provides your back with the necessary support, thanks to its adjustable backrest with lumbar support. The construction consists of a metal frame with a padded seat and a breathable backrest. After your trip, you can simply fold the seat and carry it using the integrated transport strap, making it easy to carry and store.

Ergonomics for longer sitting

Long hours in a canoe can be tough on your back. This seat is designed with a focus on ergonomics to make sitting as pleasant as possible. The softly padded seat relieves pressure, while the lumbar support and adjustable backrest help you find the optimal position to support your spine. You can easily adjust the backrest angle using the side straps. The backrest is also made from breathable 3D mesh, which promotes air circulation and reduces back sweat on hot summer days.

Stable attachment to the bench

A secure and firm attachment is crucial for stability while paddling. The SitBacker model uses a reliable two-strap system with buckles to attach the seat simply and securely to the canoe bench. This mechanism prevents the seat from shifting during movement. For even better stability, there is a bottom strap with Velcro that hooks onto the lower edge of the bench, ensuring the seat stays in place even during more dynamic paddling.

Easy transport and storage

Handling equipment before and after a trip should be as simple as possible. Thanks to its folding design, the seat can be collapsed into a compact shape that doesn't take up much space during transport in a car or for storage. For convenient carrying, it is equipped with an integrated pocket with a transport strap. Once folded, you can simply sling the seat over your shoulder, leaving your hands free for other equipment.
