AUTHOR Record 20 2025 10" White/Silver/Red

The AUTHOR Record 20 children's bike is designed for children from 4 years old who want to ride further than just around the house. Its stable geometry and easy-to-use gears give them confidence on cycle paths and during family trips. The bike has a lightweight aluminium frame and fork, which make it easy to handle. It is suitable for riders with a height of 115 to 135cm and encourages a joy for movement and discovery.

Lightweight Construction and Easy Control

The frame and fork of the AUTHOR Record 20 are made of aluminium. This material contributes to its low weight of just 8.4kg, which makes not only riding but also any handling of the bike easier for children. The stable frame geometry promotes confidence while riding, as the bike responds naturally to commands and holds its line well. This helps the child feel safer and more willing to venture out on longer trips on cycle paths or paved roads.

Intuitive Shifting and Reliable Brakes

The bike is equipped with a seven-speed Shimano Tourney derailleur, which is controlled by a Shimano Revoshift twist shifter. This system is very intuitive for children, as they change gears with a simple twist of the handlebar grip. This allows them to easily adapt their pace to different terrains. Safe stopping is ensured by Tektro V-Brake caliper brakes, which provide sufficient braking power and are easy to operate.

Durable Components for Young Riders

The bike runs on 20-inch wheels with aluminium rims and 44mm wide Kenda tyres, which offer a good compromise between speed and stability on paved surfaces. Aluminium handlebars and stem further reduce the overall weight. The 127mm Prowheel cranks are adapted to a child's build and, in combination with the Shimano cassette with a 12–32 tooth range, allow them to tackle gentle climbs as well as swifter rides on flat ground.
