Alpro plant-based oat drink
Alpro's plant-based oat drink is a great alternative to milk. You'll simply love its subtle flavour. In addition to being 100% plant-based, it's also free from lactose and artificial colourings. It does, however, contain vitamins B2, B12, and D2. Use Alpro in your cooking, add it to cereals, shakes, and smoothies, or simply enjoy it on its own. It's also suitable for vegetarians.

Recipe - Oat pancakes
Ingredients
For the batter:
180ml Alpro oat drink
60g plain flour
45g oats
1 tablespoon of caster sugar
1 and a half teaspoons of baking powder
a teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 egg
extra oil for frying
To garnish:
Warm fruit compote or anything you fancy!
Method
1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix to a smooth batter.
2. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over a medium heat.
3. Add the batter to the pan one ladleful at a time and cook on both sides.
4. The finished pancakes should be golden brown. Serve with warm fruit compote or maybe Alpro plant-based yoghurt alternative. Yum!
