How to set the Aerolite suitcase's TSA lock
You can change the number combination using the following procedure:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory preset is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
This will return the reset button to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new numerical code is now set. If you wish to change your numerical code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory preset is 0-0-0, if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with the red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without causing damage. It can also speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key designed to open that type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold commercially and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice inside your suitcase and the suitcase must be locked again. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily a US organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
