How to set the Aerolite suitcase TSA lock
You can change the number combination by following these steps:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Push the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. If you want to change your code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow baggage to be easily opened for inspection without causing damage. It can also speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect baggage with this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key used to open that lock. TSA lock keys are not publicly available and are only accessible to TSA personnel. After inspecting the baggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice in your suitcase and relock it. It is particularly recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
