The Solight DM80 compact laser distance meter is a handy helper for precise distance measurements, area and volume calculations or Pythagorean theorem measurements (calculating the length of the third side of a triangle from two known lengths). Distances can be measured from 0.05 to 80 metres with an accuracy of ±1.5 mm, making the instrument suitable for use on construction sites and for a variety of interior work. The Solight DM80 features an easy-to-read backlit display and is equipped with both horizontal and vertical spirit levels for greater accuracy. There is also a continuous measurement function and an internal memory that stores the last 20 measurement results. The device is powered by two 1.5V AAA batteries.

The Solight DM80 is equipped with a range of features that make it easy to use in the field. Use the push-button control to easily select the work mode, scroll through up to 20 recent measurements or switch between different units of measurement (meters, feet or inches). There is also a practical function to switch off the device when idle or a low battery indicator. The Solight DM80 laser meter can be used at temperatures from -10 to 50°C.
