The SMLIGHT SLZB-U2L USB adapter acts as a bridge for transmitting USB devices over a network. It lets you connect radio dongles for standards such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Thread or Matter, and place them in the position with the best signal, regardless of where your central unit is located. The adapter connects to the network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and is designed for integration with smart home platforms such as Home Assistant. With pre-installed SLZB-OS firmware, you get advanced network functions, including remote access and easy management.

Flexible connectivity for your smart home

The SMLIGHT SLZB-U2L adapter offers a high degree of flexibility when building a smart home. The main advantage is the ability to place USB radio dongles in a location with optimal signal coverage, while the server with the control system can be anywhere else on the network. Connection is provided by an Ethernet port and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, giving you freedom of placement. You have three USB-A ports and one USB-C port available to connect host devices. Power is supplied via a modern USB-C connector or alternatively via a network cable using PoE (Power over Ethernet).

Advanced firmware and wide compatibility

The heart of the adapter is the pre-installed SLZB-OS firmware, which brings a range of advanced features. Directly in the system, you will find support for WireGuard VPN, which ensures secure remote access to your home network. The DDNS function makes it easy to connect even without a public static IP address. Maintenance is simple thanks to OTA updates, which take place wirelessly. The system is open and compatible with tools such as ESPHome, Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT and Z-Wave JS, making it a versatile tool for automation enthusiasts.
