Bluetooth versions

Bluetooth versions differ not only in compatibility but also in data transmission speed. 
Speed can be divided according to Bluetooth versions:    
     

• Bluetooth 1.0 and 1.0B - 768 kbps
• Bluetooth 1.1 - 768 kbps
• Bluetooth 1.2 - 1 Mbps
• Bluetooth 2.0 and 2.1 - 3 Mbps
• Bluetooth 3.0 - 24 Mbps
• Bluetooth Smart 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 - 24 Mbps
