Rear Window Mounting
Rear window mounting refers to the installation method of a rear camera, which is part of a kit with a front camera, known as a dual system. This smaller camera is designed to record events behind the vehicle and is attached from the inside to the rear window. An adhesive mount is most commonly used for attachment, ensuring a firm connection to the glass. The rear camera is connected to the main front camera by a long cable, which is routed through the interior of the car. This cable provides power to the rear camera and transmits the image to the main unit, where the recording is stored.
