WEP encryption

WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) is an older encryption protocol used to secure wireless networks and powerline adapters. Although WEP provides a basic level of security, it is considered outdated and less secure than the more modern WPA and WPA2 protocols. WEP is easily vulnerable to various types of attacks, so it is recommended to use newer standards for network security.
