Return-to-Home (RTH) Function

The Return-to-Home (RTH) function is a drone safety mechanism. When activated, the drone automatically returns to a predetermined location, usually the takeoff point, and lands autonomously. The drone memorizes this takeoff location using a GPS signal at the beginning of the flight and refers to it as the "Home Point". The function can be initiated manually by the pilot by pressing a button on the controller, or it can activate automatically in critical situations. Such situations include, for example, loss of signal between the drone and the controller, or a critically low battery level, where the system determines that only enough energy remains for a safe return. Before returning, the drone typically ascends to a preset safe altitude to avoid potential obstacles such as trees or buildings. In most cases, the pilot has the option to interrupt the return process and resume manual control if, for instance, the connection is re-established.
