Function of Infrared Light

Some electrostimulators are equipped with an additional function that utilizes infrared light. This is a type of radiation that is invisible to the human eye, but tissues perceive it as heat. This light penetrates deeper under the skin, where it creates a warming effect. The goal is to warm and relax the muscles in the treated area and simultaneously promote local blood circulation. Better blood circulation can contribute to a faster removal of fatigue substances from the muscles. The warming of the tissue thus prepares the body for subsequent electrical stimulation and can support its overall effect in pain relief or muscle regeneration.
