The SilentPower GND Defender adaptor suppresses the unwanted hum in audio systems caused by ground loops. This component is inserted directly between the mains cable and the protected device, where it intelligently breaks DC ground loops without compromising safety or interference shielding. The design prevents unwanted currents from passing through the earth wire, but maintains the safety earth in case of a fault.
