Sigma BC 16.16 STS/CAD

In addition to basic cycling features, the Sigma BC 16.16 STS CAD also offers an ETA (estimated arrival time) function that continuously calculates how much time and distance remains until you reach your destination. In addition, each kilometre that you cover is converted into fuel savings so that you can see how much you save on fuel compared driving a car. You also have a pedestrian frequency transmitter. Thanks to the NFC chip, you can directly link your computer to your Android-powered smartphone and download your riding data using the free Sigma Link application. The computer has a large display in a sporty design and is a great tool for every passionate cyclist.

If you're riding and suddenly get caught in bad weather, never fear. The Sigma cyclocomputer is waterproof with IPX8 coverage. The computer not only stores the total value, but also workout statistics from the last 12 months. If you want to analyse data from the ride, you can use the docking station and software (not included), which allows you to view data on the computer. Do you have more than one bicycle? Up to two different bikes can be set up on the cyclocomputer with separate ride data measurements for each bike. Comparisons between your current and average speeds are made nonstop throughout your journey. These comparisons are symbolised by an arrow pointing up or down. If no arrow appears, then the current speed is about the same as your average speed.  After five minutes of inactivity, the computer enters sleep mode and then enters standby mode after an additional five minutes. This reduces power consumption and ensures a longer battery life. When the integrated accelerometer detects movement, the computer is reactivated and ready for immediate use.

Installation and Service

Assembly and disassembly can be handled by yourself without the need for tools. The cyclocomputer is simply attached to the bike. The initial size adjustment for your bike is easy. Select from pre-defined bike dimensions between 16" and 29". It is also possible to manually enter your bike size in millimetres for greater accuracy. The device comes with a disabled service interval function. Thanks to the service interval, your bike mechanic can set up a service reminder based on the number of kilometres you ride.
